For BA-type backflow prevention devices, commissioning and testing must be carried out by an accredited tester who has been assessed by the Water Industry and is listed on the National Register of Approved Testers.
Customers requiring commissioning and testing of BA (RPZ) devices should appoint an approved RPZ valve tester.
Approved testers can be found via WaterSafe or through the local water undertaker’s Water Regulations team.
