This latest achievement strengthens the Brymec Copper Press offering, giving consultants, contractors and project stakeholders even greater confidence when selecting a press-fit solution for potable water, heating, cooling and compressed air applications.

Importantly, this certification complements our existing Kitemark-accredited copper tube range, meaning our partners can now specify and install a complete solution comprising Copper Press fittings manufactured to BS EN 1254-7 and copper tube manufactured to BS EN 1057, both backed by recognised third-party certification.

The specially engineered EPDM O-ring allows the medium to seep past an unpressed connection, making missed joints immediately detectable before commissioning. Once pressed, the fitting creates a secure, permanent seal, while visual press indicator foils provide a simple confirmation that fittings have been correctly pressed.
