Ready… Teddy… Go!

What happens when 100+ colleagues, 10 teddy bears and six months of challenges come together? From customer visits and CPDs to international adventures, Ready Teddy Go encouraged colleagues across Brymec to connect and collaborate beyond their day-to-day roles.

At the start of 2026, colleagues from across Brymec came together for our annual company meeting, centred around the theme Breaking Barriers & Building Connections.

The event focused on strengthening relationships across the business and exploring how greater collaboration can help us continue to deliver the high standards our customers expect. To capture the day, we were joined by Inky Thinking, who visually mapped the key discussions and strategic priorities that will shape the year ahead.

One of the initiatives that emerged from the meeting was Ready Teddy Go!

The Challenge

Ready Teddy Go brought together more than 100 colleagues across 10 teams, each equipped with their own BryBear and a challenge list to complete throughout Q1 and Q2.

Activities ranged from customer visits and CPDs to warehouse tours, supplier meetings and team events. Each challenge carried a points value, with additional points awarded for creativity, teamwork and collaboration.

While there was certainly a competitive element, the purpose was to encourage colleagues from different departments, locations and roles to connect in ways they may not ordinarily have the opportunity to.

Over six months, the bears became regular companions on customer visits, supplier meetings, warehouse tours, filming days, CPDs, social events and international trips.

Six Months of Adventures

So where did the bears go? Or the better question might be: where didn’t they go?

Some travelled considerably further afield. One BryBear visited Universal Studios in Florida as part of a cruise holiday, while another enjoyed a picnic in Zimbabwe, AND one bear became an unexpected talking point in Hong Kong after being dubbed “the British Labubu” by locals! Others ventured across the UK, including city trips to Edinburgh, London, and more.

And the Winners Are…

By the end of the challenge, hundreds of activities had been completed, countless photos shared and, most importantly, stronger connections formed across the business.

In true competitive spirit, two teams proved impossible to separate and finished level at the top of the leaderboard.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who embraced the challenge and got involved throughout the year!
