Brymec Announces the Launch of Stainless Steel Press-fit BIM Files

Brymec’s Stainless Steel Press-fit BIM files are now available to download through our Technical Resource Library. The launch provides consultants, specifiers and contractors with greater access to coordinated design data, helping support project planning, system integration and specification development.

As part of Brymec’s ongoing commitment to supporting consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, we are pleased to announce the launch of BIM Files for our Stainless Steel Press-fit range

This launch further strengthens our BIM offering, which already includes files for our Cast Iron, HDPE, Vox Acoustic Drainage, Copper Press-fit and Solder Ring, Polybutylene Push-Fit, Heavy Duty Steel Press-fit, Multi-layer Press-fit, and Valve ranges, as well as for our channel support systems.

The files are available within the Brymec Technical Resource Library, or directly through BIMobject, providing consultants and contractors with quick access to digital product data that can be integrated directly into project designs.

The launch forms part of our continued investment in specification support, giving project teams greater access to the technical resources required to design, coordinate and deliver building services projects with confidence.

What are BIM Files

Building Information Modelling (BIM) files provide a 3D digital representation of products and systems that can be used within building designs.

Unlike traditional CAD drawings, BIM files contain both graphical and technical information, allowing designers and engineers to incorporate detailed product data directly into project models.

This supports improved coordination between disciplines, helping project teams to identify potential clashes, improve system integration and maintain design accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

BIM files, alongside technical submittal packages, are often provided by Brymec to support contractors with the specification process. They are an important factor in assisting effective design and integration, providing confidence that the solutions selected and modelled will meet both project and regulatory requirements.

Supporting Design and Coordination

As project complexity continues to increase, access to accurate product information during the design stage has become increasingly important.

The addition of BIM files to the Brymec Stainless Steel Press-fit range enables consultants and contractors to integrate system data into their models earlier in the design process. This supports efficient coordination between building services disciplines and ensures project information remains consistent.

Access The Files

The Brymec Technical Resource Library has been developed to provide consultants and contractors with quick access to the technical information needed to support project delivery.

Alongside BIM content, users can also access a wide range of technical resources including data sheets, technical specifications, certification documents, EPDs and Installation guidance.

In addition to the Technical Resource Library, consultants and contractors can access Brymec BIM files through BIMobject, making the specification process easier, quicker, and right at your fingertips.

The files are compatible with Autodesk Revit and have been developed to support the requirements of modern BIM-led projects.
