Second Water Well for the Brymec Foundation
At the end of last year we were able to fund our second well and help the Bugiri Community gain access to safe drinking water.
We are proud to partner with Fields of Life to be able provide clean drinking water for those that desperately need it.
Bugiri is located in Namutumba District, where many believed that access to safe– clean water was a luxury. For generations they have been depending on contaminated water sources. The community had to walk 1km to access water from an open well, implying that the majority spent a lot of time walking to get water. Bugiri community was aware of the many dangers but they continued using the source because they had no alternative. The new water source has been timely for this community, because they no longer have to walk 1km in search for unsafe water.
