Luke leads the senior management team and is in charge of developing and executing the company strategy. As such, he says he’s always looking for opportunities to innovate, research and develop new products, offer new services and utilise new technologies.
It is, he says, what makes Brymec stand out from the competition. “Our continuous improvement. Always asking ourselves how we can be better in our service, products, orders and deliveries.”
“The industry is becoming more open to new ideas and products”, he says. “For example, using technology to streamline operations. There seems to be more of an appetite for it.”

Leading the Brymec sales team, Glen ensures customers get the best all-round Brymec experience. He passionately believes in exceeding customer expectations.
“Working with such a focused and dedicated team makes all the difference”, he says. “Everyone, from all departments, works towards the same company goal. This means that when we need support, from any area of the business – it’s there.”
He’s also proud of the way Brymec doesn’t shy away from making bold decisions. “We’re not afraid to be pioneers in the industry”, he says, “when it comes to changing the way things are done to make improvements for customers.”

Dale joined Brymec around a decade ago, when he left school. Since then he’s risen through the ranks to head up all our commercial activities.
“Every day I work with an engaged team who are responsible for a variety of initiatives. Each area has its own unique opportunities and challenges that keep myself and the team on our toes.”
He’s seen a lot of changes over the past ten years. “We are bringing more processes and experience into the team”, he says. “They are able to specialise and focus on key areas. They’re a great team – and a happy one, too.”

Andy’s role is all about making sure stock is available and reaches our customers in the shortest possible time. As such, he’s responsible for everything involving sourcing and purchasing. It’s a varied, hands-on role that relies on precise coordination and teamwork.
Andy has a great deal of experience in this area. He’s previously worked as a Group Sourcing Director for a global firm and has even advised the armed forces.
“I worked as a consultant to the military on a complex supply chain project,” he says, “but that’s all I’m allowed to tell you!”

Paul is responsible for the management of Brymec’s Finance function. He joined Brymec over two and a half years ago and has overseen tremendous growth.
A major factor has been the improvement of reporting to inform business decisions.
Paul says having a competent and dedicated team helps, as we “work together to resolve issues and put the customer at the centre of the decisions we make.”
Before Brymec, Paul held a traditional Financial Controller role. How does Brymec compare? “This role gives me significantly more autonomy and the opportunity to really feel that I’m helping drive the business forward”.

Genette sums up her role quite succinctly as, “taking care of the people who take care of our business”. No mean feat when we have such diverse teams in a variety of locations. However, the performance and development processes she has introduced are helping us go from strength to strength.
Genette has previously held a number of senior HR roles in large international corporate organisations. At Brymec, she’s been quick to utilise our culture of collaboration. “I feel totally engaged and involved in the business and I believe I have been able to influence and make a difference”, she says.
