Who are the Lighthouse Charity?
The Lighthouse Charity is the only charity in the UK dedicated to the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families. They provide a wide range of vital support services, including a 24/7 confidential helpline, free wellbeing and mental health training, financial assistance to those facing hardship, and local community support networks.
Importantly, The Lighthouse Charity receives no government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of the industry and its supporters to continue its life-saving work. Their mission is simple yet vital: to ensure that no construction worker or their family feels alone during times of crisis.
