The Brymec PRV. Empowering building efficiency
The Brymec PRV delivers perfectly balanced water pressure and a consistent, even flow downstream throughout multi-storey or large-footprint buildings. Integral to preserving the safety of water distribution systems, they provide a more comfortable experience in buildings that perform better with greater operational and cost efficiency.

Perfectly balanced under pressure
Regulating just the right amount of pressure, so water flows at the optimum rate – not too high, not too low – on every floor of a large building is key to ensuring building users won’t ever have to deal with poor water delivery from taps and showers, or the jarring sound from pressure shock when a valve or tap is closed.

For added peace of mind
The Brymec PRV comes with a industry-leading full five-year warranty. It also works seamlessly with our high-quality range of iron butterfly valves, lever ball valves, isolating valves, and balancing and commissioning valves, helping deliver full-building water-distribution solutions that truly perform, while creating the optimum conditions for protecting appliances, fixtures and fittings.

It’s the little things that count
At the heart of the Brymec PRV is a diaphragm made from PEROX EPDM rubber reinforced with polyamide fabric, which makes it more durable when working with hot water. Extra strength comes from its high-quality DZR brass body.

Handling pressure is only the beginning
Improved experience all around
Heating and water systems are quieter, safer and more efficient when downstream pressure and flow rate are lower, which can also result in lower energy costs.
Reduced excess water consumption
Almost every appliance in domestic or commercial buildings is designed to work with a manageable, low-pressure water supply, so with the right pressure every time, you can cut unnecessary water use.
Quickly in, quickly out
As it features male union pipe connections, it’s super easy to install and can be quickly removed, if required.
Optimised for variable usage conditions
Due to its ability to adapt to constantly changing upstream pressure conditions, there’s no need to worry about a possible gradual build-up of pressure when usage is reduced or in no-flow conditions.
Debris is a thing of the past
An incorporated strainer filter prevents debris from building up inside the device and affecting its performance.
An impressive range
It has a working temperature range of 0°C (with a Glycol mix) to 80°C, and WRAS and KIWA have approved the Brymec PRV up to 80°C for drinking water applications.
Easy to monitor and maintain
Fully serviceable, it comes with a removable and replaceable cartridge for easy maintenance and a setting scale repeated three times to make it easy to view and adjust in tight spaces. A pressure gauge can also be fitted easily to measure outlet pressure.
Built to protect
With features that reduce the possibility of damage, it helps ensure lower system stress and, in turn, longer system life.
For use in multiple applications
The Brymec PRV performs well in all water applications, such as potable water, heating water and chilled water with up to 50% Glycol. Where approval standards permit, the Brymec PRV can also be used in fire control systems, and even with category 1 compressed air.
